The thesis

Your bulletin, your slides, your site, and your podcast all say the same thing. You should only have to say it once.

1. Copy-paste is not a spiritual discipline.

The platform

Three products, one platform

Built to work together — they share one private member directory, one content library, and a single warm brand across everything your church does online. Try the demos yourself, no sign-up needed.

Flock HeraldPublish

Write it once. It goes everywhere.

Herald is the desk your church speaks from. Draft together in real time, approve once, and the same words land on your website, your TV slides, your printed bulletin, and your podcast feed. Identical. Everywhere. Always.

Flock RosterConnect

Everyone findable. Nothing overshared.

Roster is your church's private member directory. Every person decides who sees each field of their profile, and children never carry contact details because the database itself forbids it. Turn on check-in and pickup follows the custody records: who may collect a child, who may not, and a deny that nothing overrides.

A member sees 1 of 3 fields. Ruth chose that; the database enforces it.

4. Who sees each field is the member's choice, enforced in the database. Postgres does not gossip.

Bonus / Flock Trivia

Bible trivia they ask to play again.

Live rooms on the big screen, solo practice on the couch, collectible sheep as gentle bribery. Included with every plan, bright and celebratory for the kids and calm for whoever is holding the remote.

What we hear in beta

flock-forge is in beta with real congregations. These are the notes we keep hearing — paraphrased until our churches are ready to be famous.

  • Herald

Change the picnic time once and it changes on the website, the TV slides, and the printed bulletin. Volunteers notice.

  • Trivia

Kids ask for trivia night. On purpose. Repeatedly.

  • Roster

The printed directory book comes back with thumb tabs, guide words, and a name index. Families keep it on the shelf.

  • Setup

Setup takes about one evening, and nobody on the team has to be technical.

  • You

This row is reserved for your church.

Questions

The short answers.

What is flock-forge?
flock-forge is a church platform that unites a visitor-first church website, sermons, and announcements with a private member directory and joyful, COPPA-safe Bible trivia for kids. You publish once and the same words reach your website, TV slides, printed bulletin, and podcast feed.
How much does flock-forge cost?
flock-forge is free for your first 50 people in the directory, with no credit card required. The Team plan is $39 per month at introductory pricing, with 10 admin seats and your own custom domain, and annual billing saves two months. Enterprise pricing is custom for multi-campus churches, networks, dioceses, and denominations.
What happens when we grow past 50 people?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. The free tier is sized for a church plant finding its feet; once you are past it, Team at $39 per month is the next step, and it is also where a custom domain, email, and self-hosted sermon audio and video live. During the beta every church gets every feature free.
What add-ons are available?
Four, and they attach to any plan: an AI credit pack at $10 per pack, extra storage and streaming at $10 per month, the printed member directory book at $9 per month, which is included with Team, and a one-time website migration at $149. Add-on prices are introductory while billing rolls out.
Can you move our current website for us?
Yes, and we do the work. We harvest your current site's pages, sermons, events, people, and photos, rebuild them on the flock-forge template, and verify the result against your existing site before anything cuts over. It is a one-time $149 service at introductory pricing, not a self-service import you have to figure out.
What does the church website template include?
Every plan includes a public church site on a free flock-forge subdomain. The template ships with a plan-your-visit path and a real inbox behind it, Give and Watch buttons always in reach with a live indicator during services, your current sermon series up front, sermons organized as a shelf, event registration with capacity and waitlists and confirmation emails, a staff page, and newsletter signup. Search-engine structured data and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility are on by default.
Can I use my own domain?
Every plan includes a free flock-forge subdomain. Custom domains are available on the Team and Enterprise plans.
Is flock-forge safe for children?
Yes. Kid accounts are COPPA-safe by design: they collect the minimum data, consent is captured when the account is created, telemetry carries no personal data, and children are never shown ads. In the directory, the database schema itself forbids storing contact details on a child's record.
Does flock-forge include a church member directory?
Yes. Flock Roster is a private, member-first directory: members reach one another through a relay that never exposes an email or phone number, and every member controls who sees each field of their profile across six audience tiers, from public down to only me. The rules are enforced by the database itself, not just a setting, and staff can print a designed directory book.
How does child pickup work at check-in?
When your church turns on check-in, pickup follows the custody records your staff keep: who may collect a child, and who may not. The decision is made in the database as the child is released, so a restriction added minutes earlier still applies. A deny is never overridable, not by a volunteer and not even by merging two member records. Parents can see their own child's approved list.
What can I publish with flock-forge?
With Flock Herald you draft and approve an announcement once, and it lands on your website, TV slides, printed bulletin, and podcast feed. Identical everywhere, with no copy-paste and no drift.
Do families need an account to play the Bible games?
No. The Flock Trivia demo and the daily round need no account. Live trivia rooms and collectible rewards use a COPPA-safe account.
Who owns our church's data?
Your church does, on every plan. You can export your data whenever you like, privacy-request export and erasure are built into the platform, there are no ads anywhere, and your data is never sold.
